Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme expanded to include engineering, degree, and polytechnic students.
Chief Minister today launched the distribution of free laptops to 2 lakh college students under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme. Students pursuing engineering, degree, and polytechnic courses will receive HP laptops pre-loaded with educational software. The scheme has an outlay of ₹600 crore this financial year.
