Latest IPCC report says current climate pledges are ‘woefully insufficient’ to meet Paris goals.
The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) today released a stark report warning that global temperatures are on track to rise by 3.1°C by 2100 – far exceeding the 1.5°C target set in the Paris Agreement. The report urges immediate action, saying current national climate pledges are ‘woefully insufficient’.
