Meta today released Llama 4, its most powerful open-source AI language model yet, featuring 2 trillion parameters (2x GPT-4). The model outperforms GPT-4 on 15 of 20 benchmarks, including reasoning, coding, and multilingual tasks. Llama 4 is available for free to researchers and commercial users. Developers can download it from Hugging Face starting today.
