Autonomous landing test successful; India on track for low-cost space launches by 2028.

ISRO today successfully conducted the autonomous landing test of its Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) named ‘Pushpak’ at the Chitradurga Aeronautical Test Range in Karnataka. The RLV was dropped from a helicopter at 4.5km altitude and landed autonomously on a runway. This brings India closer to low-cost space launches, potentially reducing costs by 80%.
